Peacock Plan [NOMOS Corporation]

Peacock Plan is the treatment planning component of the Peacock ConformalRadiation product of the Nomos Corporation. It accepts a diagnostic imageset, CT or MR from a variety of supported scanners, and provides tools toaccept, register and contour images. Using simulated annealingoptimization techniques, Peacock Plan computes an optimized treatmentregimen based on a physician's prescription. It then calculates a 3D dosematrix, and provides tools to examine the resulting dose distributiongraphically and statistically. Finally, Peacock Plan outputs a treatmentplan for the Nomos Multileaf, Intensity Modulating Collimator.
